My favorite! The ‘Diagonal’ of the name refers to the pattern of your arms and legs as you ski. Your right arm and left leg go forward for one stride, then the left arm and right leg. It’s Classic!
If nothing else, try to slide forward a little bit with every step that you take. As you get more practice, you will find yourself gliding further and going faster.
