We need YOU to volunteer for the final scheduled brushing party. We still have plenty to do for all abilities. If you don't like running brush cutters or chain saws, you can clean ditches with a shovel, use a hand pruner, or haul cut brush off the trail for any length of time you are able. The club has power tools but few non-powered implements. Please call and sign up for this scheduled brushing party. If you don't like this date or cannot make it this time, call Kurt, Ed or Jim and propose another!

Don Hicks, (360)733-4815, says "In my role as carpool/day trip coordinator for the NNSC, I am informing you of a last minute day trip to Hollyburn (Cypress Mt.), on Sunday, 1/31/2010, the last day before it closes for the Olympics for a month. Ron Sawyer and I are planning to go. We will meet at Sunset Square, near the Cost Cutter at the rock wall at 10 am. The conditions are good on the upper trails and the lower are not quite so good. This is our last chance for some day trip skiing up there for a while.  Call me if you are interested and we will look for you." Click here for conditions, maps, and more for Cypress/Hollyburn.
Kurt says in part, "I have decided to sponsor a second trip to Logan Lake. Due to the continued popularity of this tripI have reserved the B&B for the three nights of 2-12,13,14-10. I will be accepting payment of $230.87/ person and can refund up to a month (January 12) before the trip date. I like skiing there, so doing it twice during the season is no problem for me."
